What does parenting mean?

Parenting refers to all the processes parents undertake to raise their children from infancy to childhood. It includes a wide range of responsibilities, such as fulfilling child’s basic needs, emotional support, guidance, educational development, teaching values and discipline, focusing on physical and mental growth, social and emotional development, patience, and religious knowledge.

The goal of parents is to support, protect, and guide their children through every stage of their lives. But the journey is rarely smooth or effortless. As children grow and mature, there are moments when kids exhibit behaviors that are undesirable or confusing and parents may find themselves uncertain of how best to support their children during these challenges. It emphasizes positive communication and encouragement rather than punishment or strict discipline.
